i've hardly found any time to either see my friends or work on my hobbies the past few months, and although i planned to spend a few days over christmas cleaning out the apartment and setting up a decent workspace, of course things never go as planned that time of year.
dafy and i are planning on shuffling around the rooms in our apartment, which would involve me putting the rest of my vintage computers in storage but would make things a lot easier otherwise.
i thought yesterday about keeping in touch with friends, about people who write letters, about how personal blogs evolved into memefactories over the past 15 years, and remembered to before Livejournal and Xanga, when blogs were a static website. i figure that i'll keep a running log of my life here, since tumblr and instagram are no longer appropriate for that.
