p48 Peter Meiser, son of Gottfried and Christiana(Kretschmar)Meiser, born 6/30/1850 town of Milw., a farmer, marr. Auguste Eschrich, born 7/28/1857 Saxony, dau. of Carl and Ernestine(Lippert)Eschrich on 10/8/1882. Witnesses were Alvine Meiser and David Grober. (Peter's birth year and birthplace appear to be off in this record: censuses show him to only be 4 yrs. old in 1860 and born in Saxony.)

p59 Anna Messer marr. Fed. Dassow, son of Chas.Friedrich and Wilhelmine(Grober)Dassow, 12/1/1889.

[...]
Stroebel, Christian 23 Wisc.

He may be related to George and Melosina or may be an older son of theirs. Christian is living with Wilhelm Grober, age 27.

WELLHAUSEN

Auguste Willhausen marr. Ernst Grube 6/24/1849; Marie Willhausen marr. Traugott Grober, in 1857, all in Milw. I do not know if their surname was "Will" or Wellhausen.

1869 town of Milw. census

Wellhausen, August 36 shoemaker Brunswick
    Sophia 31 "
    Wilhelm 11 Wisc.

Loeffler, Friedrich 45 farmer Prussia
        Friedricka 46 wife Mecklenberg

They are all living together and I believe Friedricka was a dau. of Johann Wiechmann.

Mrs. Johann Koester (Wilhelmina nee Wiechmann) also lives in the Town of Milw. and is age 25 on the 1870 census. Perhaps she was related to Johann, above.

To Johann Heinrich Wiechmann, 3/21/1865, for $600.00 for 4 acres of land beginning at the NW corner of SW1/4 Sec. 5 T7 R22 E, then E, S along the RR tracks, W, N to the N boundary of the SE1/4 Sec. 6. (This land was a slim piece of land along the S side of present Congress St. between Green Bay Rd. and going across two sets of railroad tracks - in 1865, the La Crosse RR and the Superior RR; today both belong to Milw. & St. Paul RR Co.)

    Louise 7 "
    Bertha 1 "

Emilie, nee Grober, was a sister of Gottfried Grober, who lived just N of the Zipfels on the Port Washington Rd. Gottlieb Zipfel was a son of Goechen/Goetchen(?) and """ Zipfel, from his death record.

Fredrich has left home; I don't know where he was living, but he is mentioned in his father's Final Decree in 1902.

Louise marr. Abraham Grootemaat 11/29/1888 in Williamsburg, Town of Milw. They had Sarah, Clarence and Elmer. Louisa died 1908 of TB and is buried in Union Cemetery, Milw., with Abraham and his 2nd wife, Lydia. Louisa's dates are 1863 to 1908.
